Check Engine with 402 Code. Haynes has you do back flips. So after I check for the obvious loose vac lines, electrical connections, can I just jumper some stuff (bypass) to see if it is the EGR valve. Is this the only mechanical item in this system that will probably fail open (402 code). Should I start here or look at VCV, VSV, EGR gas temp sensor. Anyone with some experience with this?
