How To Run A 91 Mr2

I have a 91 mr2 turbo. I'm going to run my time and I want to know what RPM I should start at for the best start up. I would like to avoid spining my tires or laging my car, if possible. It's going to be on street tires. I'm a beginner so help me out. Thanks.

Depends greatly on the spec of the car, clutch etc....

Mine runs smooth from 1.5k without spinning the rubber, others claim you can drop the clutch at 3k....

Only real way to play is go out to an empty car park and practice your start :D
