Unusual Question!

Okay having a look about my engine bay looking for a paint code on the VIN plate, I notice its all scratched and is unreadable!

How would I go about getting a new one? Dvla? I know the chassis number is on the door etc but I need the rest of the info on the VIN plate!!!

Suspicious that is. did you buy it from Mr T and do you know much about its history? (Do you really know what car you have got ;) ?)

Bought it from new, 1st owners so nothing too dodgey there!

Why is it scratched tho?

If my car gets keyed, hope they do my Vin plate as the colour code is well out :P

Thats the thing Andy, I have no idea why it is scratched, Toyota must have done it while its been in for a service!

Should I phone up maybe the DVLA and say what they have to say about it? Maybe ask them to get a new 1?
