Okay having a look about my engine bay looking for a paint code on the VIN plate, I notice its all scratched and is unreadable!

How would I go about getting a new one? Dvla? I know the chassis number is on the door etc but I need the rest of the info on the VIN plate!!!

Suspicious that is. did you buy it from Mr T and do you know much about its history? (Do you really know what car you have got ;) ?)

Bought it from new, 1st owners so nothing too dodgey there! :thumbsup:

Thanks Yves but I really just want to be able to read 'cos if I do come to sell it, it will look well dodgey as Red mentioned! :wacko:

Thats the thing Andy, I have no idea why it is scratched, Toyota must have done it while its been in for a service! :angry:

Should I phone up maybe the DVLA and say what they have to say about it? Maybe ask them to get a new 1? :wacko:
