i had the colour satnav stereo and it did not compair to the standard clio unit in my g/f clio so have added a sub in the boot. great except the wireing was a guess by taping into the speaker cables... and could not find the ignition on switch, so have a manual one ... just have 2 remember to turn it off or the Battery goes so flat the central locking wont work which causes problems starting.

you can't have too much BAS

I copied all my CD collection onto CD-r and CD-RW no problem.

(although I get my mini disc changer fitted tomorrow, this works though the exsisting CD player controls)

This maybe don't belong over here, but I have had funny moments with a couple different label CD's.

Sony's CD's plays in Corolla, Yaris but not in a new Avensis.

TDK plays in Corolla, new Avensis but not in my T-sport Yaris.

Arita(cheap in Finland) plays in Corolla and Yaris, but not in Avensis.

Don't know what to buy next time when recording music to car??!! :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

Thanks to Virche and kaz for comments on CD-RW

I didn't know what to do about playing recordings of spoken word radio programmes downloaded from the web. Wanted mp3 but unavailable on Corolla. The thought of ending up burning 100s of CD-Rs didn't thrill me

Then tried out CD-RW in a new Corolla and it worked! Similar to cassette but no more jams and better quality! Delivery in two weeks!

Thanks again
