The Yaris has 155/80x13 (155x13) and also 175/65x14 as standard fitments..

I think the standard size on the T-Sport is 185/55x15

You might find This Link usefull.

Don't quote me on this but I think it is something ridiculous like 165/65 R14 for the standard steelies!

On the T-Sport its 185/55 and Yoko A539's are best.

is about £45 per corner (that includes VAT and delivery) a good price for them?

The Yaris SR came with Dunlop SP9000's in 195/50/15ZR tyres as standard.

Hope this helps.

Just out of interest .. what kinda deal you looking to strike and who with?

you see when I post it in Gold

needless to say - especially on bigger wheels, you could actually save the cost of your gold sub just on 4 tyres.

I am getting Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, in 245 / 40 / 18 for £103 each - thats a big saving - well over a hundred pounds.

I dont know how much you pay for tyres on other models - hence the thread

For those of us on the "ridiculous" ( <_< ) standard 14-inchers, OEM tyres are either Goodyear GT2s on the French ones and Bridgestone B391s on the Japanese ones.

I've owned Yarii with both, but personally I prefer the Bridgestones. I'm going to try a different make the next time I need new ones though as I'm not to impressed with either. I ran Vredestein Snowtrac 2s from December through to Saturday and their roadholding was superb in cold or wet weather for a negligable increase in noise and fuel consumption.

I don't know if that's much help

Alan

PS I once bought a set of 13" GT2s for £17+VAT a corner, but my old man does own a haulage company and I get a significant discount on my tyres ;)

That's about a £5 saving from mytyres.co.uk.

EDIT: Actually you can get them for £34.40 from mytyres.co.uk if you go for the 195/50 R15 fitment. Which will still fit the standard T-Sport alloys.

I have been a tyre fitter for over 15 years.. my number one choices as far as manufacturer is concerned are,,..

Toyo

Bridgestone

Goodyear

Continental

In no perticular order

One brand i would never put on my car again is Pirelli (bad experiance of tyre failure)

Theese are personal choices, through my own experiances

Mathew.. if you PM me a list of sizes and prices, i will compare them with the retail prices at my work for you.

£48 cheaper - thats nearly two years subs, just by saving on tyres

I've just had a loot through the prices - even buying stock-sized tyres I could save my Gold Subscription twice over (and I've already saved it 3 times over on insurance).

Guess where I'll be getting my next set of tyres
