I want to take the tints out of the rear small side windows as they are silver and I want the whole car doing black.

Is it a big job geting them out, I dont want to start it if I cant finish it.. they look very well stuck and I dont want to scratch the glass.

Cheers!

its hard to get them on

its even harder to get it off!

best bet is let the tinitng place do it as you have to scrape the tint off and use some pretty strong solvent to get shot of the glue whic it leaves... very messy

ok well if you can get a start at one of the corners and peel away the film, then you will be able to get that off pretty much ok.

You will be left with such as Jaxx mentions the glue which can be removed with solvents such as white spirits or the folea tec tinting spray removal products works very well. I used in the past on my old car when I messed up tinting one window.

Kev :)

Best bet is a heat gun once you get a corner loose,

the glue will then come off with the film.

I've done loads like this, always works a charm

This think is not gonna peal.. might have to bow down and get the tinting place to sort it out!

Just be careful not to melt any of the interior! ;)
