Noise From Drive Train

Hi ya!

well there is this noise that I thought it was the wheel bearing, because it was stronger at 80 Kms/h, and it was constant.

After changing the bearings the noise still persists. I'm very concerned its the axle, but i cant ensure it. I checked the rubbers for oil leaks, and both are OK, also tried to check if there were something loose ( as Ive seen in other cars that I had). But nothing seems to be wrong.

How do I identify where the problem is?????? :help::help::help:

This is a tough one. At the end of the day, to really check everything, you got to get the gearbox off etc. So in the mean time, if I were you, I'll change the gearbox oil and see what happens...

I see... And it is definately coming from the front end right? i.e. jacking the car up on the lift and rotate the front wheels by hand and you can hear the noise?
