Need Help!

Right heres the problem,

We were driving down the road and everytime the break pedal was pushed there was a grindin/squeak! Brakes pads gone?! hmmm

Then after a while they started to squeak all the time!!

Really want to go to brunnters tomorrow, but if its the breaks we will be arriving very late or not at all!

Will it be the break pads??

I'd say 110% the brake pads. You can last a few days on them though, its not metal to metal just yet!

So do they squeak when they get low? They only started doing this at about 7.30!

Would it also make the EML come on?

Or is our car :censor: !!

there is a small metallic blade,next to the pad.that works as an indicator for changing your brake pads.if it just started squeeking then it should be allright for 1-2 weeks.you are not getting in the track tomorrow to race are you?you should be allright

Nope no track!! So any ideas about the eml?

EML?? Nope, that shouldn't be on! My brakes used to squeak all the time... common fault fixed by MrT, but nothing to worry about. If the brakes are knacked.... you'd know because they won't work as well as normal!

On my previous T3 she developed a squeak when going round corners/braking too, took her to MrT and under Warranty they said that the brake was binding slightly, so they took it off (or whatever), cleaned it, adjusted it and she was fine ever after.
