Exhaust Celica Gt-r

Hi I am having a stainless steal exhaust fitted I have been asked If I want to get rid of the cat if I do will it make any diffrence and what other mods do I need to do i.e new plugs, oxygen sensor conected to cat were will it need to go? Help please Nick :(
