Auto Problems...

Hiya everyone, I trust we all had a good bank hol... Back to work now :cacker:

Does anybody have experience of the following symptoms for an auto gearbox (specifically the ST182 - GT-R)?

- Gearbox makes whole car judder when braking at low speed before gearbox has warmed up (works fine once warmed up)

- Selection of 'D' when upon startup sometimes causes engine to stall (again does not happen when warm)

- Engine needs to be revved slightly in order to get reverse or drive to kick in once selected (does not happen when cold)

I have recently replaced the gearbox oil with ATF Dexron II and noticed that there was way too much oil in it to start with (about an inch higher than the 'hot' marking) and now there is the correct amount of oil in there.

Pointers anyone?

hello mate, cant say I have noticed any of these problems with my Celi. I have different car problems but none of the ones you mention, so I am not much use to you. sorry and goodbye. :P
