Corolla Cams

Can anyone recomend some cams for a corolla gti16. Who does them, how much are they and whats gains are possible?

have you tried contacting the camshaft manufacturers?

if you have a stock ECU your max duration is 272' and for this your almost hitting the unstreetable level of cam, notice i said 'almost' it will be slightly lumpy on tick over but will tick over just fine.

they cost about £200 and its well worth investing in some vernier gears and getting them set up by a pro on a dyno.

If your going to get a chip, remember it will need to be mapped to suit so its best to get that done last

some people like to have different durations of cam for inlet and outlet, useualy a slightly longer outlet duration than the inlet to allow ALL the gasses to escape, not sure on this though, seems a bit Techy verging on pointless ???

BHP gains...... well it probably the most gain for an add on and you can be looking at about 20bhp or more depending on the quality of the engine they're going in.
