Apexi Ind. Kit, 0 Maintenance?

hiya everyone..

it seems i always ask that question, and never remember the answer..

is the apexi really 0 maintenance?

how do i clean it? compressed air will do? (high pressure)

just blow on it and thats all? wouldnt that force dust&stuff into the engine?

:(

Take the filter off first and then blow the compressed air at the cone from inside. The remount the filter and away you go!

LOL I suppose if its a powerfull one it will do the job! :D

Or if you're a cheap-skate DIY bodger like me.... get the hoover on it!

if you have the whole kit, can you buy just a replacement cone filter?

oh ..one more thing..

could it be clogged after 6 months? DUHHHH

could it decrease performance in a way i could actually feel it?

Mine hasn't clogged the mesh on one side is damaged so thought might try get a new filter cone when i relocate it. Got to much to do at the moment, persuading my parents that i need bucket seats and no airbags, im currently winning, plus dont want to put the TRD harnesses to waste :D

Yep you can get the replacement cones, I have some in stock. Think they are £60 a pop. Less Goldie discount.

The cone needs replacing every 25,000 miles - that's what the Japanese instructions say - honest :P
