Rav 4 Stalling!

My wife has a 2 year old Rav 4 2 litre petrol auto. Over the past couple of weeks it has stalled on 5 or 6 occassions while reversing slowly or coming to a stop at traffic lights. Do any of you knowledgeable people have any ideas of what could be causing this problem? It will be going back to the dealer to look for the problem but if I could throw a few ideas at them first it may stop them from fobbing me off! Thanks for any ideas offered!

Hi there! If you have a look at the top of the 4x4 section there is a seperate Rav 4 sub-forum which is better to post in.

Regarding your problem, being a regular in the Avensis forum i've noticed a few have had that fault. Try having a look in that forum, it may help.
