Light Up Gt Badge For Starlet

hi guys,

i'm after the rear panel that goes on the back of a starlet GT turbo with the light up green GT Badge does anyone know where i can find one? there's a starlet turbo driving round my area with one and it looks the nuts

Hmm, sorry ive taken so long to reply but i was moving house, but i know some people who do coilovers.

Regarding the rear logo thingy, if it's similar to the Sera rear panel, then you can do it yourself. This is a common mod amongst the Sera community. Plenty of instructional websites about it.

One thing though, in the UK it's only legal to do it with a red light ( as opposed to the green you mentioned. ) There are ways round this though, if legality bothers you !

yeah, the lad who had my GT before me got stopped once for the green GT Badge. the copper wouldnt believe it was standard. he made him cover it up with insulation tape, which he happened to have in the car at the time.

luckily ive never been pulled.......... yet!?

If it's a DIY job, and you like green, but need some semblance of legality, you could do it with 2 colour LEDs, with a switch changing from Red to Green !

thats cool chap i still need to find the rear panel because there both different the one i have has got a chrome toyota Badge on it the one i need has the GT Badge all sealed into the unit and if the old bill wanna stop me for a little green light..... they need to get a life :P
