Central Locking

:crybaby: Hi To all

When I put the key in the lock it still will not operate the locks (only locks the drivers door).

Interior light works in On mode, and not in door mode when door is opened.

7.5 amp dome fuse changed still does not operate.

All door switches operate ( light on dash etc)

I am able to activate the alarm but not the central locking.

Switch inside does not work as well.

Anyone have more ideas?

Regards

olly49,

I have the saem issue except that the button on the driver's door is working for central locking. I've been told by one individual that it is the "Integration Relay" unit that is faulty. Now, whenever i ask a toyota-spares dealer about this part they always seem to ask me

1) which relay? (to which i assume the Central locking int. relay),

2) where is it fitted? ( i dont have the slightest).

Hopefully someone will get in touch soon to help us out olly49, just hang in there.

Sounds like a faulty osf door latch assembly. If the alarm is arming and the central locking doesnt, try setting the locks again. If this works, disconnect the integration relay behind the coinbox in the fusebox and completely remove relay. You;ll have to drop the lower dash trim under the steering wheel to gain full access. Refit relay in fusebox after a few minute and reconnect harness. If all else fails, you're looking at a new latch matey.
