Landcruiser Colorado Wont Start

HI I GOT A COLORADO THAT WON'T START

I FITTED A NEW STEERING LOCK WITH KEY AND USED MY OLD KEY TAPED TO THE SMALL CIRCLE PLASTIC BIT, EVERYTHING WAS FINE FOR 6 MONTHS THEN NOTHING,

BEEN TO TOYOTA THEY CHARGED ME £600 BUT STILL COULD NOT START IT , THEN TOLD ME IT COULD BE THE WIRING LOOM , BUT NO GAURENTEE THIS WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM AT A COST OF £2,000

ANY BODY GOT ANY IDEAS OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO SCRAP IT

Turn the caps lock off, it's known as shouting.

Could be the alarm ECU, but dont know much about them, could try a good auto electrician.

Try putting newest key in ignition, keep old key away, switch on ignition so warning lights are on and keep it on for 7 mins. Turn of then remove key. Then try to start it.
