mr2 turbo

im gonna be doing some work on a turbo mr2,its had a blink code read and its saying map sensor fault....... the car is lacking power oil coming out the turbo outlet,is this as i suspect......... when the dump valve was fitted the dump valve was almost perm on "dump" only slight accelerator pedal release was required b4 "hiss" anything from the norm i should be looking for.. whats the best option from here if the turbo is goosed..... i even think it may be an actuator fault,how best to test it? thanks mat:o
