My New Ts Compressor

Gave up my very muched loved tsport (facelift) (not sure if i've made the right decision!! too late now though) on Saturday and picked up the new compressor in Silver looks great

I have to say on first impressions I was well pleased untill I took it home, the finish on the wheels is quite poor (unlucky) so trying to get that sorted out!!!!! on the upside from a distance they look fantastic!!

much easier to drive than the tsport, clutch not so heavy and its great having instant power through all the gears. Although on these wee scottish back roads not sure if the traction control does much good!! especially in the wet. mmm on thinking about it unless its bone dry waste o time havin it.

Twin exhaust not sitting right at one side but toyota wont move it as thats the way it came from factory and will effect warranty if they touch it???? Is this right ???

Boot doesn' shut as easy as my other corolla you really need to give it a good bang???

On the driving side no complaints as yet just feel the finish of my Tsport was a bit better!!!

time will tell :unsure::unsure::unsure:

Sounds like complete :censor: to me! If there's a problem with the car then they should fix it and it shouldn't affect the warranty at all (in fact that's what the warranty is supposed to be there for!!).

If your dealer isn't willing to sort the problem out then give Toyota GB a call.

Again, I'd get this fixed by the dealer (probably just needs adjusting slightly).

Give them hell, you've just paid for a new car, if it isn't 100% demand your money back.

And how the hell is THEM doing something going to effect warranty. I hate dealers :ffs:

It will affect the warranty but not in a way that will affect you. It'll mean that if it goes wrong in the future the dealer network will be liable for the warranty rather than being able to claim it back from the manufacturer.

Hiya ive had my compressor since dec and ive just run it in very properly , my exhusts are fine but ive got slightly noisy brakes and some of the stitching is coming away from the steering wheel but its tons better than my old t sport and really sticks to the road corners fab even when you're going some no over steer , the finish on my wheels is good but i have clouted one and scored the rim not badly but i will see if toyota can repair it k when they return my call ( not a very good dealer experience) boot is fine just the same as the old car , did you buy the demo ?? i do think yours has some problems make them sort them out, the car cost enough , and the warranty cannot be invalidated if the work is carried out by toyota themselves , good luck :thumbsup:

My mate just changed from p zero pirelli's to t1r toyo tyres on his compressor . Massive improvement in grip under acceleration . better grip all round but notably in damp conditions where it is much better when in first gear. Toyota should have put these tyres on as standard . Hope this helps you . B)
