Ok. I'm new to the world of starlets so help me out with something....

Is there anyway to make a hydraulic clutch lower :icon14: :icon14:

I just got a 91 starlet 4E, carburetor (stock...not GT or anything) but the clutch is really high. So i many times 'ride it'.

Is there anybody that can :help: me out in any way....except for tellin me to adjust to it :icon14: :icon14:

the only adjustment i cant think of is on the clutch pedal itself. wont make it bite any lower though, unless its really badly out of adjustment.

you could try and move the clutch slave cylinder a bit i guess, there wont be much movement in it though.

you could try putting a cap on the end of the slave cylinder rod, this would make it engage lower, although your adjustment would involve grinding more off.

Keep the suggestions coming tho, if you come up with anything else!

  • 1 month later...

if you can find a place that has or can order it, you can get a shorter push rod thingy that goes from the pedal to the cylinder, but i dont know of many places that have them
