Ryan 1985 your Yaris has less power as standard than a Aygo! Which is interesting!!

Has it? Prove it? ;)

And I can almost guarantee the Aygo will be slower than my Yaris, remember you have all lost a cylinder somewhere along the line!

I can also go round corners pretty quickly with my HKS coilovers! :P

aygo vvti, I'm looking at getting maybe a Yaris T-Sport or a Honda Civic of some description!

But if your Yaris is so damn quick then y bother?

I can't see where I said my Yaris is damn quick?

Yaris

1.0 seem to be 13+ secs 0-60 and top out under a ton.

Aygo

1.0 seem to be on average about half a sec slower to 60 and also top out under a ton.

Need to find out each of your models though

Well it depends becasue i can get my aygo to 60 faster than the 14 sec that is said on the spec list and thats on a flat bit on road !!!!! But still the aygo isn't that fast on a straight road coz got beaten by a saxo :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby: but i can keep up with my mate's ford escort 1.4 round corners  :group-cuddles: :thumbsup:

Hehe however yours must be faster than the rest of ours due to all your seat removals. Is your pug your day to day car or for a bit of fun or a runaround? Also have you just left it with the metal showing or have your carpeted over it? Few piccies would be nice if possible.

I only take the seats out for track days as they are so easy to remove. It is my day to day car though. I bought it to save money commuting the 30 miles round trip to work every day. The exhaust sounds alot louder on the inside doing this but apparently even on the limit it is still very quiet on the outside. Part of the engines original design brief was to make it quiet.

With a few mods to the springs and wheels the cars handling is completely transformed. I would make some serious engine mods in the future but that would prevent it from being the economical little car that i wanted. I may have to buy another one to strip out and modify just for the track.

What is the rev limit on the car 6500rpm ???

Just over an indicated 6500 rpm the rev limiter cuts in and is very noticeable as it kills power immediately and the engine stutters a little.

It shouldn't do any damage as it is an electronic limiter that is there to protect the engine from over revving. I didn't notice any vibrations from the clutch but then my foot wasn't on it so maybe i wouldn't have noticed!
