I have to change the (Battery side) headlamp unit because of broken glass. Cant afford Toyota's hourly rate. :( Does this mean I have to take off the plastic splash guard beneath the engine? So many screws. :crybaby:

i had a quick look on my headlamp and it seems str8 forward, two screws for the grill remove and unbolt headlamp from the top, your gonna need a garage to setup the headlamp alignment so why not find a backstreet garage to fit the whole unit? my local guy carged me £10 to fit my headlamp and set it up

Thanks Nezerr, will give that some thought but I think I think there is a third screw beneath the headlamp. looks like plastic splash guard below engine will have to be removed.

Had word with Toyota garage. they said not that simple, remove grill and drop bumper slightly. this seems to make sense because the bottom screw seems to be under the separate corner lamp.
