Euro Roadtrip 27th July - 5th August

Hi folks, some of the guys over on the Celica groups have been organising a European roadtrip / bullrun thing to take place at the end of the summer.

A few people have had to drop out for various reasons and so we'd like to invite some of the other Toyota groups to join in and bolster the numbers.

This is intended as a fun run style informal trip, people can come and go as they please and at their own pace. We intend to camp as much as possible to save money.

Two possible routes currently.

ROUTE 1.

Day 1 Dover to La Rochelle / F'nay le compt.

Day 2 La Rochelle - Biarritz. Stay in B-ritz eve of day 2&3.

Day 4 into Spain/Andora mountain range. Stay in Spain eve of 4&5.

Early/mid evening of a day 6 arrive in Mubikille and camp and BBQ. Do some sight seeing next day, lark about.

Evening of day 7 arrive in Switzerland, Bern after a dash thru the mountains and have a well earned beer before slumping in our sleeping bags for mega Z's.

Evening of day 8 Germany (The 'ring possibly!).

Stay over for a rest on day 9 as well then leave early doors for the ferry on day 10 - Dover probs best bet.

ROUTE 2.

Much the same remit as Route 1 except we make a bee-line down the west side of France with the goal being to reach mid-Spain on day 4. One of the lads has family with a farm in Spain so we can use it as a base camp and then spend a few days exploring the area around there, before heading back up through France on days 7 or 8 to get the ferry home on day 10.
