Derestricting A 1994 Celica.

Am looking to have a 1994 Celica Derestricted from its 112mph limit, but i have been asked to find out if it has a mechanical or electrical speedo.

Can someone shed some light on this for me please ?

Its not a GT4, just the 2.0 Litre.....

And its the style with the Twin headlights if you know what i mean !?

look at the back of the gearbox above the diff if there is a speedo cable coming out of the box then its mechanical ff there is a push on plug then its electrical
