Yep. There is a restrictive feed into the airbox which goes under the fuse tray to the side of the Battery. Take this out. There is a post on here with pics of what you are looking for.

If it's a pre-facelift model I'd also look at changing the suspension, unless you enjoy being able looking down on mums doing the school run in their Range Rovers

if you are going for 40mm and the spring is not adjustable becareful where you drive on you will rub the oil sump on crap road's and speed hump's for sure.

enjoy your new car

If you go for the TTE springs they are designed to be used with the original shocks and give you a drop of 35mm, so if you are a cheapskate like me (well i'm skint atm anyway) that might be the best option.

I fitted the TTE springs to my old T-Sport and they were great.

The car sat and handled better and had no clearance problems

Where is the post that says about this?

Is the difference it makes noticeable?

Dahat - You should be able to get the TTE springs from you local Toyota Dealer.

are you sure?

this thread says otherwise tsport on 19"s

100% sure mate.said the car was rubbing slightly wen 3 were in da back

I assume your mate must have lowered it more than 30mm then, as that seems the most logical explaination?
