:help: Anyone out there know if alloys off a renault clio will fit a 1994 Corolla GXI, ive been told that the PCD of them is 4x100 which i think is the same as the corolla, has anyone swapped em over before????

Yes Clios are 4x 100 pcd

But beware off offset.

Corolla original offset is around 35 - 38mm

Yet Clio can be 35mm to 45mm so check wheel/tyre does not fowl/touch up against suspension (It shouldn't as it's only possible to be about 7mm more).

There is however the 'question' of bore (wheel centre/hub) size

Bore size of Clio wheels is 60.1

Bore size of Corolla wheels is 54.1

(so 'standard' wheels off a Clio will fit onto hub of a Corolla but NOT the other way around!)

Incidentaly if alloys are aftermarket (say TSW/FOX etc) it might be a good idea to get some spiggot rings in Toyota 54.1 size as these spiggot rings are interchangable on aftermarket wheels (the spigot rings will be 60.1 if they were aftermarket wheels fitted to the Clio).

 Cheers....they are 16" Momo Arrows and ive taken a chance and bought em off eBay...only thing is there is only 3 wheels but a mate of mine sells alloys and he thinks he has a few odd wheels still left in his garage...only paid £43.02 for em with tyres but had to pay £50 to get em posted to me in Ireland. The ones i have on my gxi are a copy of Momo Arrows and have a share of kerbing but still look well so ive been on the lookout for an original set for a while, been told that you can no longer buy em new....hopefully the offset wont be a problem.....i'll have em next week so i'll find out then. anyone got an odd wheel left at home off an old set if im stuck???????

In response to Rinko......

the ones on my car are very similiar to Momo Arrows but were made by BK Racing as far as i know, they have the BK Racing logo on the centre cap. They look well on the car so the original Momo's should also look well ( i hope!! ). All 4 of mine are kerbed and one has had a small crack on the inside alloy-welded. Hoping the ones ive bought will be ok and i'll be able to pick up that 4th wheel

Very nice mate

Tidy car you got there! :D

Thanks

The wife gets to drive it more than me though :(

I take my old reliable 1987 starlet the 3 miles to work and back while she's flying around in the corolla taking the kids to school and that.

Nah...I get more enjoyment out of it at the weekend after being in the starlet for the week :driving:

Anyway i think my young fella would rather walk to school than be dropped off in the starlet.....the gxi still turns a few heads for an old car :)

Getting a few rattles now though, ive changed the front links and anti-roll-bar rubbers but still getting some noises from the front of it, have to have a look at it shortly. I see Fensport do a share of stuff for these corollas, what's worth buying off em???? :icon14:
