What Size Speakers Are In Corolla? E12 Sr

Hi guys need some help please!

i am trying to change the Speakers in my car but I dont know what size they are.

I rang up a toyota dealer and said they could not find out.

Anybody else know?

it is a 2006 2.0 D-4D Sr 5dr but it will have the same size Speakers as any E12 corolla.

Anyone recommend any particular brand of Speakers? and should I put a sub in?

im thinkin of upgrading the speaker system, shame it didnt come with tweeters!!

yeh I know.

I was going to get the toyota tweeters fitted but I was quoted £146 plus VAT for supplying and fitting them!

Which is a rip off.

So I am going to put new Speakers in but I can't find out what size to buy!

I am also going to get my infinity basslink x sub fitted but not sure because of ripping bits of trim off and wires going through the car.

how about the unit it self? i was thinking one of those pioneers pop up dvd units, but due to where the unit is, can be screen be visable?!

Yeh it will be visible but you would have to get a fascia plate put it and you would lose the mp/g info but for me I wouldn't mind losing it as all I ever used was the range but on my new corolla it doesn't have it!
