After seriously kurbing one of my alloys.

I ordered one from a local place who happened to have just one in stock in there other store, but they managed to drop it and its now no use.

I then tried afew other places with no luck - in the end I ordered one up from performancealloys.com, waited 2 days for them to phone me back to confirm details only to find out they have none in stock, they said they would try and find one and call me back - that should have been yesterday - still nothing.

Anyone know where I can buy a Fox Racing Evo6 6.5x15 5 stud alloy?

How serious is seriously curbing? You ming be able to find an alloy referb company that will repair the damage. Try these chaps....

they might just be able to sort you out.....

About this serious

The guy from preformancealloys.com got back to me, they were able to track one down - the very same one that the first lot dropped.

Got a couple of places to try tommorow, if no luck there I'll be looking for a new set and try to sell the 3 good ones on ebay

That is a pretty  :censor: ed up wheel mate. How did you manage that?

Tom

Avoiding a half brick and a bit of a pothole in the rain coming off a roundabout I managed to then catch the rim on the top of a kerb that was sticking out a little.

25MPH

if they just fall apart like that at only 25mph,bud would'nt you be better off not getting another one of those and changeing to a different brand allround????????

i would not feel safe with them on my car, imagine what would have happened at a higher speed, they would have imploded or something

Im starting to wonder if it might have been a wee bit faster.

I think I was just unlucky in the way it caught the kerb. :censor:

Bit off topic but

I was thinking about getting a set of 18" Fox Evo 3 until i seen the mess of that wheel. Could it be a one off or just the brand in general?

The price for the 18s was £840 from the cheapest shop and £1100 from halfords.

I couldnt comment on how Fox wheels would hold up generally, I think it was more to do with bad luck, the kerb I caught was sticking out and dug into the rim.

It's not just you though mate.. You can see some pretty bad reviews on Fox alloys. Plus my friend’s uncles brothers wife’s sisters mate had some 17" Fox's on his escort that "shredded" on impact with a kerb. Although was going faster than 25mph..
