I have tried to search all over the forum, but I don't seems to find any pic of the boot light installed in the P2 or after.

Can anyone show me a pic of their Yaris boot light?

Thanks!

Here's mine: ;)

It would be nice to have a real boot light and even some light under the hood (when open).

I bought these lights from scrap yards for a quid.... just wondering where the P2's have their boot light mounted for a reference to where I should put mine.

P.S. The spark plug is there as a reference of size

Boot light on P2 is on the left hand side of the boot on the side wall from memory....

Dont quote me on that though as I might be thinking of other cars!:lol:

You should wire in some cathode tubes instead  !

They will look better and light up more ;) !

I have got a 12v 4W fluorescent that I could install.... I tried it at night and it looks great! But since it's big, it will have to go under the stealth shelf.

But since I fold down the seats now and then for luggages and the stealth shelf removed, I would prefer to have the boot light on the side panels, just as the P2 Yaris, so I still have the lights when needed.

Thanks for replies guys~ But I would be so happy if someone could show me a pic of their boot light in their boot.

Cheers! :P

Cold cathodes would look quality but would have to wire them up to opening the boot somehow or just have a switch
