Hi,

I have a Yaris GS 02 5door model. For some reason, the driver side mirror is out of the cover by a bit (1.5cm). Is this normal? I want to reseat the mirror back. What should I do? Any instruction for taking the mirror body off?

Many Thanks.

Do you mean the glass is sticking out of the mirror or that the mirror body is not flush with the side of the car?

To take the mirror off you have to take the door card off then unscrew three bolts holding mirror on then disconnect electical wire if mirror is electric and then it should come straight off!

Thanks for the response. It is the glass sticking out of the mirror. The plastic box is in good position.

Never seen a mirror glass sticks out like that and the passenger side mirror glass is seated very well.. All the functioning is fine.

Basically pull on the glasss to get it out and have a look inside if nothing is wrong then put it back on and give it a good push and make sure the clips are all in, there are some ones you have to hook on first then clip the otherones in, cant remember if the top part is hook or clip or vice versa!
