Discovery When Removing Parcel Shelf Support Panel

Hi Guys,

Was removing the parcel shelf support panel just now (on a 3 door 1999 Yaris GLS) and found not only a 20p coin, but also a 2 pin white plug that connects to nothing.

My camera went out of Battery and is charging, will take a pic of that soon. But does anyone actually know what that plug is suppose to do?

Could it be for the Boot light, but was never installed in the P1? Or is it for proper rear Speakers to be mounted at the Rear Trim panels? As I see a lot of space behind there for any large Speakers or subwoofer!

Thanks for helping!

Sure boot lights were installed n p1s, just not in europe ;)

Yes indeed. Then again the one in the P2 isn't exactly going to burn out your retinas anyway. ;)
