Sound From Brakes ?!

Hi

There's a slight noise coming from the brakes *after* I've released the (brake) pedal.

It's not 'screeching', but more of a soft 'squeak'.

Do I need new pads or is there more to the noise than just a change of brake pads ?

Thanks in advance :)

Not too sure but you might just have a mouse ;) .....................(Or a sticking piston in the caliper)

Er, thanks Red (I think).

Do you think it could be something serious (if I left it as it is ? )

It is always advisable to get any brake problem checked out professionally (especially if you are not too sure yourself)

It does not necessarily have to be at a main agent (although Mr T should currently be offering a "Free" winter safetey inspection....see Toyota GB website for details)....................some of the well known "national" chains may also help with a free inspection.
