Cd Changer Interface (original Hu)?

Hi, i'm a noob around here (i have posted in the noob section :D ).

I've just bought the missus a 05 T2 Yaris and she wants to know if i can fit my old Pioneer 12 disc changer in it without removing the OEM Headunit. Can this be done?? The HU has controls for CD so it must be do'able.

If not i do have the pioneer headunit to go with the changer so it can be fitted instead. I can't seem to find a fascia adaptor for the phase 2 though.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Matt

Welcome to the club  !

If you look under the newbie section, underneath that you will see a 'yaris how to section' have a look in there  !

Also you can use the search at the bottom of the page and it will bring loads of info up  !

Get a cd changer control module (e.g. connects2) and then you can use your stock hu to control the pioneer 12 disc cd changer.

Or you could do what u said, and use the pioneer hu with the cd changer, and get a fascia adator from Halfords (for a RAV4).

Thanks for the info.

I had looked on the FAQ section but they gave part numbers of fascias but not what make they were.

I'll have a closer look.

Cheers

Matt

A "Connects 2" unit will do what you need, but this has been discussed quite a few times. May I recommend the "Search" feature?

Good luck,

Alan
