Starter Motor?

Hiya All :-)

Earlier today i had a problem with my 51 plate TS,

i tried to start it and there was no liife at all in it.........nothing!!

i thought it may be the starter motor jamming, so i selected reverse, released the handbrake and rocked the car forward and backward, this sorted the problem........the car started immediatly afterwards :D

What i need to know is...............

Is the starter motor the problem?

and if so, what can i expect Mr T. to charge me for a new one?

any answers appreciated..........Thx.
