Engine Immobilisation

Hello everyone, I am a new member and would like some advice please. :D

My MPV is a grey import from Japan and appears to have an engine immobiliser (factory fitted).

When I remove the ignition key, a red flashing light appears on the dashboard so I presume that is what it must be. My insurance company is asking for proof that an immobiliser is fitted to the vehicle,or they won't insure it against theft ! Any ideas how I can obtain written proof that this is the case ?

If I have to write to Japan, does anyone know the address ?
