Only went for one day so can't help much apart from the huge cathedral and of course Toyota and TTE

I've been around it on the encircling road, [immature humour] the Koln-Ring [/immature humour], but I've never been lost enough to be through it.

Will actually be past it (and the Nurburging :crybaby:) next Friday on my way to Frankfurt... :)

Have a nice time though

It's a nice city. Public transport is great, unfortunately not much of the old city remains but still full of beer gardens so fun in the summer.

I guess it will be a bit chilly this time of year, though. If you are driving, as with loads of cities on the continent, keep an eye out for trams coming through. German tram drivers, living up to their reputation for ruthless efficiency, are not keen to brake for cars loitering on the lines :D

Paul.

For some reason they decided to rebuild most of it in the late 40s

Nice place, good beer  It was about 30 mins from my old house!
