P/x & Private Prices

Been looking at buying Corolla SR & have been left a bit miffed regarding P/X prices for my 2 cars.

Offered me £2500 for my 1.8L 51 plate Avensis ( 52,000 ) & more annoyingly £6400 for wifes 05 1.3 Yaris CC ( 15,000 ).

After some digging, I believe my Avensis is worth £2995 ( Min ) & Yaris £6995 on P/X. Privately I would expect £3250 & £7250 respectively.

Any comments reagrding my expectations?

All in I was expecting between £9000 - £10000 for both.

Where are you getting the figures from?

Everyone in the trade uses Glass's guide, so it doesn't really matter what Parkers or anyone else says, its the Glass's figure that's important :)

Follow the link to the Glass Valuation on the Vauxhall website and they'll give you a few free part ex estimates, which can be handy :)

Sorry Yaris should have read £5400.

I'll have look on Vauxhall site & see what Glass's quote.
