Is anyone else insured with Keith Michaels. Im 20, 3 years ncb paying 850 3rd party f and t on my starlet turbo. They were cheaper by miles than anyone else and there customer service is very good. Hopefully ill never have to find out how good their claims department is.

Speaking as someone with a 'trade' presence as well. I've carried out repairs for Tescos on Seras and they were OK, although payment took about 8 weeks to come through.

AXA, Norwich Union etc., all OK to deal with.

Best policy is to be 100% honest - say what you've got and declare all modifications, and I mean alloys, fog lamps the lot...

The reason people are being quoted more for Yaris's than Avensis's is down to accident stats. More first time drivers drive the small Yaris, thus more Yaris's are in accidents. Meaning if you have a yaris going by the insurers experience are more likely to have a prang.

Thanks for that. I was wondering why i was getting cheaper quotes than yaris's even though the person driving the yaris had the same no claim's as me and was the same age.
