2000 Camry LE Keyless entry

The secratism about the keyless entry systems is alarming. You can pay a rediculous $150.00 from a ??? reputable dealer (who is !Removed! who?) or you can buy a $9.00 replacement and the person will tell you how to program it. What is even more interesting is that unless you don't want to take the time, I have found various persons giving out the programming proceedures. Does anyone agree that this is undo justice? I am a building contractor and if any of my HVAC or electricians would not pass the information about any appliance or furnace that they sell me not only would they be gone, yet i then I would get it from another subcontractor who may want some business. Who are we protecting here? Please respond with complete assanigne remarks if you wish, But all I simply want to know is would someone here tell me where the program box for the keyless entry is located on a 2000 Camry LE?
