Can Avensis Nav Be Adapted To Run A Dvd Player?

Just bought a 2004 (04) Toyota Avensis T spirit 5 door Estate, Picking it up Wednesday, must say I'm mighty impressed with the car :D comes with so much spec!!! I've done a bit of research on this but all sites I look at seem to say adapters are avaliable for the avensis but aren't year / model specific.

My question is...

Can the factory fit Nav System which has a full colour screen that comes out of the dash when the ignition is turned on and a remote attached in the centre console (which can be removed to hold in your hand) be modified / added to so I can plug a DVD player into it for the little one's in the back?

Sorry I can't be anymore specific with the model of Nav but not got the car to look at it yet!

Thanks for any help or coments on this
