02 Avensis Idle Air Control Valve Replacement

Hi,

Hope someone can resolve the following.

I had the engine malfunction light come on on my '02 2.0Ltr Avensis, took it to Toyota who diagnosed that the idle air control valve was faulty and would need replacing, code T25860-28070.

Is this the same thing as the vacuum solenoid on the inlet manifold air control valve? If it is I can see it and would be happy to replace it myself.... if it isn't then can anyone identify where it is and whether there's any chance of a novice replacing it rather than letting Mr Toyota charge me 40 quid for the privilege.
