engine temp

odd question i know, but what is the operating temperature of the engine in centigrade. i know the turbo can reach ridiculous temperatures but what about the rest of the engine?

hmm, interesting Q. but haven't got a clue, just watch mine sit just below half way on the dial....

mine never rises above half way, but i'm doing a bit of engine colour coding and want to make sure the engine won't cook the paint
