Any advice welcome on these queries;

1.6 - (1)car alarm works ok but when fob button is pressed the indicators do not flash; (2)speedo has stopped working, everything else ok (car has just returned from mechanic who replaced the head)

1.8 - (3)alarm fob buttons do nothing when pressed but can lock and unlock with the key. Worked ok up to a week ago.Led light comes on, Battery was replaced 2 months ago.Have tried to reset by holding down the 2 fob buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds but no good.
