Windscreen Frozen On Inside

this morning when i went out to the car the windscreen was iced over on the outside but as i scaped it off i noticed that it was also iced over on the inside. is this normal? it is the first car i have ever had that has done this and it wasnt even that cold last night. probably only -3/-4 ish. i checked all of the windows and they were shut so i carnt understand why it has happenend.

Yes this does happen. Moisture on the inside just freezes over night.

Might indicate you have damp inside the car.

Usually suggests moisture is getting into the car.

If you didn't leave a door a fraction open, or a window slightly down, then you may have a door seal that's damaged or worn.

Or if you got into the car last night in the rain then there could be moisture left inside from that perhaps?

If none of the above applies then try closing your dash vents when you park up at night.

Or you could try putting a chemical dehumidfier inside overnight to remove any moisture from the car.

i will check everything is dry but it might be a faulty seal as the car is not 3 weeks old yet. i will monitor it as it might be just a freak incident.
