Trip Computer Question

Hello,

I have a Yaris SR 1.3 and for the life of me I cant work out how to get the Trip computer to display the Driving Range (amount of miles i can go until I need to refuel) This option used to be on my 1.0 Yaris all I had to do was press the Trip button on the computer until it came to it.

Please help, as this is bugging the hell out of me.

Cheers

Matthew

What does the manual say? On mine the trip button scrolls through driving range, average mpg, momentary mpg and then average speed.

Is the display the same as your old Yaris? Or was your old Yaris a P2 and this a P1?

My manual says exactly the same as that, that it should be able to scroll through to it. But i only get Avg MPG, Momentary MPG and Avg Speed.

Sorry I have no idea what the Yaris was before hand as it was a company car and I didn't take much notice of what type it was other than it was a Y reg 1 Litre and a very basic model. But yes it did have the same trip computer layout etc.

I would recconmend you use the fuel gauge.

You will get to know how many miles you can get out of the tank by useing the Trip A and Trip B.

When the Fuel gauge starts flashing, then refuel as soon as poss. Normaly 30/40 miles depending on how you drive.

Or get a Diesel and fill up twice a year....... :driving:
