Air Conditioning Leak

The air conditioning fluid is leaking around the discharge tube where it fits onto radiator. Is there an 'o' ring or gasket of any sort fitted? The pipe is easy to reach and has only 1 bolt at each end. Is it easy to replace?

You need to get it fixed by a specialist air con place.

I most strongly agree with the above statement. The system contains highly pressurised gas even when the engine is switched off and can cause serious burns to skin due to the extreme cold temp of it when it escapes. Also it is ILLEGAL to vent A/C gas (R134A is the type used nowadays) as it is damaging to the ozone layer and as such can incur a fine of around £25,000 if caught. Another thing to bear in mind is that it will soon become law that individuals will have to be registered to carry out any work on aircon due to the severity of possible fines and damaging the environment.

Get it booked into an authorised A/C specialist or main agents. Yes it will cost, but just think of the cost to your health / wealth if you try to DIY..
