Anyone familiar with electrical systems?

I have a 1987 Supra with a problem. I have a dead short in the system, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have isolated it to somewhere further down the line than the fuse block in the enigne, which means that it must be located in the wiring harness (I think). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to define which fuse is blowing! Usually 1 fuse covers 1 circuit, but some can cover as many as 3 or 4 circuits.

If the fuse covers more then 1 circuit, operate the fuctions one at a time until fuse blows. Once circuit has been pinpointed you will need to start disconnecting components within circuit.

EG. If short on RH flasher circuit, remove bulbs one-at-a-time & then re-check.

If you have no fuses blowing, then normally you should expect a harness "burn out".

Give me a bit more info & I could try to help a little more.
