Wheel Bearings.

Hi all.

I think i might have a wheel bearing on the way out at the back of my 2003 Avensis(whining noise). To all you knowledgable folks, is this an easy job to replace it? I ask since Haynes STILL dont appear to have a manual for the new model. Also, anyone know how much its likely to cost me for one?

Have yet to carry out rear wheel bearing change on 03 model. Car is new shape model I take it, you have multi link rear suspension holding hub. Aotodata showing an hour or so to renew. Try www.carparts-direct.co.uk, lad called Martin with number on main web page he will put you right on bearings. I order parts from them, never had a bother. Unless you no some one hear doing non rip offf price parts.

No it's not that bad if not fu@&ed yet? Bearing is about £60.
