3rd Generation Steering Rack

Can anybody help my truck has failed the m.o.t due to excess movement

in the steering rack has anybody changed the mounting bushes and can

you help on the best way to tackle this job

You can get the new bushes here http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=172&vid=921 Although if you can wait they are available from the USA, I paid around £13 for a set a couple of years ago.

Changing them is not too hard, just jack the vehicle up and use axle stands, take the bolts from the big D bush and then do the two small bushes, I think I just threaded the two small ones and then tackled the bid D bush, have seen a write up somewhere so if I can find it I will post a link.
