Well as I don't have an avensis I am not entirelly sure, but as noone else is helping you out.

you will more than likely have to take the door card off. find all the screws, including the one holding the door handel (opener) on, and the ones that may be hidden under the door handel itself which you may need to pop off gently, but remember these all have very strong but fragile screws.

Do you know anyone who works in a Halfords? as they will have the EXACT way to change these by looking in their manuals on their internal computers.. or go and get friendly with one in the audio department, they will be able to see for you.

just remember when you put new Speakers in, they MIGHT foul with the window, so try and check before you fit them. I had to make an 18mm MDF bracket to hold mine out of the way, and then remove some of the support from the door card itself as there were bits of plastic in the way.

Hope this gives you a bit of a starter.

There is a Haynes manual for your car that would show you how to remove the door card and the Speakers. If not going to a srappy and ripping one off there first is always good practice and keep the fixings in case you break any on your own car.
