Hi guys and girls. My friend and i need some help. We both own 2001 1.8 VVti Avensis. What we are confused about is cambelts. The dealer i spoke to said it was a 100,00mile or 5 year change, my car has only done 46,000miles, but is 7 years old. My friend claims its a chain, not a belt and just needs checking/adjusting. Can you guys clear this up please as a broken cambelt is no joke! :o
